The purpose of this committee is to review all requests from our membership, to assist in writing Amicus Curiae briefs on important appeals cases affecting injured workers in California. These three have the overwhelming task of reviewing all submissions and deciding which matters need to be supported by briefs. Unfortunately, they cannot accommodate all cases and must be very selective. This committee is in great need of volunteer brief writers to keep up with the ever-increasing appellant activity. Prepared by the Committee and Andrea Robertson, an Amicus Report is published quarterly in CAAAments, which provides a detailed update on the issues and status of "special" cases "reviewed/handled" by the Amicus Committee. • If you desire the assistance of the Amicus Committee, please submit your brief to Andrea Robertson
