California’s Division of Workers’ Compensation is proud to point out that “93 percent of medical treatments for work injuries are not delayed.”

Imagine if others bragged about similar numbers as proof of success…

“99.99 percent of Californians are not homeless.” – California Commission on Homelessness

“93.4 percent of CEOs are not women.” – Fortune 500

“99.99 percent of veterans don’t commit suicide.” – Veterans Administration

“99 percent of farms are not owned by Latinos.” – U.S. Census Bureau

Sounds pretty ludicrous, doesn’t it? The DWC should save those bragging rights for when treatment delays aren’t putting injured workers on the brink of homelessness.
