Candidates who will decide the future of California Workers’ Compensation have all filed their required paperwork to run for the State Legislature.
CAAA’s Political Action Committee members have taken time away from their practice to analyze the districts, review the candidates’ records and qualifications, and are in the middle of conducting interviews with the candidates who have the “right stuff” for injured workers.
The PAC has found some candidates with huge potential to do good things for the people we represent.
In each case, the PAC voted to recommend the legally maximum contribution from CAAA. Those recommendations have been approved by CAAA’s Executive Board and those contributions are being delivered...
But it’s not over. There are still more candidates to consider, more interviews to do, and more decisions to make.
When the PAC process is complete we will publish the list of endorsed candidates for the June 7th Primary... our future injured worker champions.
The whole process will be repeated during the summer as PAC evaluates our best opportunities for the November General Election.
