CAAA's 2022 Winter Convention - Back in the Saddle Again will be held IN-PERSON.
We are returning to a familiar location, the Westin Missions Hills Golf Resort and Spa - site of many past conventions.
Join us in the desert to reconnect with colleagues and for the same great educational content you’ve come to expect.
Health & Safety
CAAA’s top priority is the safety and well-being of our convention participants. We have updated our Health & Safety policy regarding the requirements to attend CAAA’s 2022 Winter Convention. The purpose of this update is to provide an efficient registration and entry process, as well as a safe environment for everyone, while maintaining our participants’ privacy.
All attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, guests and staff will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test issued by a lab (within one day for an antigen test and within two days for a PCR test*) before arrival to our meeting space. CAAA will not be maintaining any records on individuals’ vaccine or test status. Instead, CAAA will be utilizing the CLEAR Health Pass which allows participants to upload documentation onto an app before arriving to convention. See details below.
Fully vaccinated is defined by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention and California Department of Public Health as follows: A person is considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 ≥2 weeks after receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna) or ≥2 weeks after receipt of the single dose of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson). See the complete policy below. *updated 1/4/2022
Important COVID-19 Pre-Screeing Information
As part of our commitment to safety at the 2022 Winter Convention, all participants must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test issued by a lab (within one day for an antigen test and within two days for a PCR test) before checking in.
- CAAA will be using Health Pass by CLEAR, which provides a secure, digital proof of COVID-related health insights via the free CLEAR mobile app. Complete your health screening with Health Pass by CLEAR ahead of time for expedited check-in and entry!
- For the most efficient entry possible, every attendee should enroll with CLEAR before the event to complete their COVID-19 pre-screening. We encourage all attendees to complete this process at least 24 hours before the event.
