CAAA's 2024 Winter Convention - Stay Ahead, Lead the Way
We are excited to announce our upcoming Winter Convention, taking place in the beautiful California desert. At the CAAA Winter Convention, you will have the chance to attend informative panels led by esteemed legal experts. These sessions will cover a range of topics, all aimed at helping you stay ahead of the game and remain at the top of the profession to get the best results for your client. Additionally, you will have the chance to network with other attorneys and legal professionals, forging valuable connections that can benefit you throughout your career.
Of course, it's not all work and no play at our Winter Convention. You will also have the chance to explore the stunning California desert, taking in the natural beauty and enjoying all that the area has to offer. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or prefer to take in the scenery from the comfort of a spa, there's something for everyone in this amazing location.

CAAA's Winter Convention is an efficient way to earn quality credits over 4-days and assist you in meeting your compliance requirements.
This program has been approved for credit in the following jurisdiction(s):
The activity has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 14.25 hours (including 1.25 Ethics & 1.5 Recognition & Elimination of Bias) as appropriate to the content of the activities and CAAA certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved education activities by the rules and regulations of the State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education. Provider #1279. CAAA has been approved for 11.5 hours of Legal Specialization credit. Provider #1279.

You must be a registered convention attendee or a registered representative of an exhibitor to be granted a reservation under the CAAA discount rate.
Attendees are allowed one room per registration.
Exhibitors are allowed 3 hotel rooms maximum per booth.

Taxes/Fees:
Resort Fee $15
All reservations are subject to all prevailing taxes and assessments.
All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card at the time of booking.

Room cancellations or changes must be made by December 22nd and may be subject to forfeiture of the individual deposit and cancellation fee.
The hotel cut-off is December 22nd.
The CAAA hotel discounted rate is not guaranteed after December 22nd.

In addition to our room block at the resort, we have a limited block at the Westin Mission Hills Villas located at 71777 Dinah Short Dr., Rancho Mirage.
THIS VILLAS ROOM BLOCK IS NOW CLOSED
There is no affiliation between the Westin Rancho Mirage Resort and Westin Mission Hills Villas. There is no longer direct access between both properties.
PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY
** Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas has no cancellation policy because we are beyond their standard 90 day cancellation period. In order to secure your reservation you will be charged for the entire stay with no option to cancel for a refund. **

CAAA is not working with a third party to book hotel reservations. Beware of this type of communication from a third party. Room reservations should only be made online using the link CAAA has provided to you or by calling the hotel directly.
We are not requesting that any forms be filled out or that you provide CAAA with any credit card information to secure a room.
Cancellations received prior to Friday, December 22, 2023, are subject to a $50.00 handling fee. Cancellations must be in writing to generate a refund. No refunds, name changes or cancellations after Friday, December 22, 2023. If you do not cancel or attend, you are still responsible for payment. An administrative fee will apply if you do not cancel or attend and want access to the post-production videos for credit.
