Convention Materials
Only printed education materials will be distributed at convention for those who have paid for the printed syllabus registration rate. If pre-registered, please check in at the CAAA Convention Pre-Registration counters to pick up your materials and name badge. All registrants who have selected the electronic version need to download the syllabus before arriving to convention. An email containing a link to the download page will be sent at least one week prior to the convention date. Attendees registered after May 24, 2024 are NOT guaranteed a printed syllabus (even if requested).
MCLE Credits
This program has been approved for credit in the following jurisdiction(s): The activity has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 16 hours (including 1.25 Elimination of Bias & 1.0 Wellness Competence) as appropriate to the content of the activities and CAAA certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved education activities by the rules and regulations of the State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education. Provider #1279. CAAA has been approved for 13.75 hours of Legal Specialization credit. Provider #1279. CAAA is an approved MCLE provider with the State Bar of California and the State of California Division of Workers' Compensation.
QME Credits - Pending Approval

Pick up your badge at the Pre-Registration counter outside of the Costa Del Sol ballroom starting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Educational Sessions will be held in the Costa Del Sol ballroom.
The Exhibit Hall will be located in the Costa De La Luna ballroom.

You must be a registered convention attendee or a registered representative of an exhibitor to be granted a reservation under the CAAA discount rate.
Exhibitors are allowed 3 hotel rooms maximum per booth.
The CAAA hotel discounted rate is not guaranteed after May 24th.

Room Rates:
La Costa Rooms & Signature Room King/Queens - $269.00 + taxes/fees
Plaza Suites King/Queens - $299 + taxes/fees
Villa Standard Rooms King/Queen - $299 + taxes/fees

Taxes/Fees:
All reservations are subject to all prevailing taxes and assessments.
All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card at the time of booking.
All reservations must be guaranteed by a deposit of one night’s room and tax at the time of booking.
Resort Fee:
The resort fee is waived for CAAA over the conference dates and 3 days prior and post. Discounted from $48.
Check in/Check out Times:
Check in – 4pm. Check out – 11am.
Parking:
Overnight self-parking fees will be waived for all attendees booked into the official block. Valet parking fees will be offered at a discounted rate of $15 per vehicle per night. Standard fee is $58.
Cancellation:
Room cancellations or changes must be made by May 24th and may be subject to forfeiture of the individual deposit and cancellation fee.
Registration cancellations received prior to Friday, May 24, 2024 are subject to a $50.00 handling fee. Cancellations must be in writing to generate a refund. No refunds, name changes or cancellations after Friday, May 24, 2024. If you do not cancel or attend, you are still responsible for payment. An administrative fee will apply if you do not cancel or attend and want access to the post-production videos for credit.
