Syllabus
Only printed educational materials will be distributed at convention for those who have paid for them. You have designated on your convention registration form which format you would like to receive. If you preregistered please check in at the CAAA convention pre-registration counters to pick up materials and name badge. Additional copies of materials can be ordered after the convention.The convention order form will be available online at the CAAA Bookstore
Electronic Syllabus
All registrants who have selected the electronic version need to download syllabus before arriving to convention. You should have been emailed at least 1 week prior to the convention date for you to download syllabus to your portable device. Please follow the directions on the email letter you receive. Power will be provided for laptops in the general session. Please sit in the desigated areas.

MCLE Credits
To be awarded continuing education (MCLE, LS or DWC), your badge must be scanned for each session.
Security guards will have the scanners at each entry way into the Events Center. You only need to be scanned once per session. If you are having difficulties with the badge, please go to the at-door registration to have a new badge printed or for any additional assistance.
Credits are awarded according to the Accrediting Agencies selected on your individual profile on CAAA.org. (You do not need to be a CAAA Member to use the CAAA.org website.) In order to view your personal profile and your Credit History you must have a login account for the website. Click on the link below for information on how to create a login account on CAAA.org.

Credits are awarded according to the "Accrediting Agencies" options identified on your profile. CAAA only awards credits under the Continuing Legal Education Credits for the State Bar, Legal Specialization or the Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC).

Dress Code
Dress for convention is professional/casual business attire. Attendees should avoid wearing any clothing that may be interpreted as promiscuous, provocative or overly suggestive. Convention management reserves the right to deem any attire inappropriate and therefore not allow admission to any events affiliated with the convention.
Exhibit representatives may be asked to leave the exhibit hall and change clothing if not wearing appropriate clothing. This will be handled on a case by case basis. If any representative refuses to comply with the dresscode, the company may NOT be allowed to exhibit at further CAAA events.
Lost and Found
Did you lose something? The Lost & Found items at the hotel are at the Hotel Security Desk. Sometimes we will have things at the At-Door Registration also. The hotel security will need you to describe your lost item before turning things over. To contact hotel security from the Hotel call ext. 2340 or call the direct line: 775-789-2334.
Need to get from the Airport to the Hotel? Use the Grand Sierra Airport Shuttle. It runs every 30 minutes. Here is their regular schedule:
Airport to Grand Sierra: The Shuttle runs a quarter after and a quarter till the hour from 5:15am - 12:15am.
Grand Sierra to Airport: The Shuttle runs at the top of the hour and half hour 5am - 12:00am.
